Join us for an adventure-packed lesson where you'll learn essential tackle selection and expert tips for angling from a kayak or stand up paddleboard! These lessons can be for beginners or an experienced angler(s) learning to fish the area!
What you’ll learn:
• How to tie basic fishing knots
• How to rig bait/lures
• The proper lines and leaders to use
• What works best based on location, conditions, and time of year
• Fish handling techniques and fish tagging demonstration
• Education about fish behaviors, the ecosystem, and Guana Reserve.
What’s included:
• Kayak (single kayaks only) or Bote SUP with paddle, PFD, and anchor
• All tackle, lures and bait
• Falcon rods paired with Shimano 3000 spinning reels
What to bring:
• Saltwater fishing license
• Sunscreen, bug spray, hat, polarized sunglasses
• Wear comfortable, sun protective clothing and water friendly shoes.
• Drinks and snacks
• If bringing your own fishing gear, Guana has a 3 rod maximum per vessel.
• You can bring your own kayak/SUP. Please contact us ahead of time to let us know if you will be doing so.
