Junior Casting Clinic
Having fun and success saltwater fishing is often all about being able to deliver the
fly quickly and accurately.
This junior clinic is a great place for a beginner to get a foundational skillset for saltwater angling that can be built upon going forward. The instruction is step by step progressive learning. So join us and give it a try. For the junior angler that has some level of a casting skillset, this is a great opportunity to expand your casting skills. We will fine tune loop formation, demonstrate, explain and teach the saltwater quick cast. How to effectively cast in windy conditions which will include instruction on how to execute a back cast delivery.

North Guana Now Offering Fly Casting Lessons!
The sport of fly fishing continues to grow across the country. We are pleased to see there are more young anglers, and women helping grow the sport. Anyone can learn to cast with skilled instruction, patience and practice. The bottom line is “fly casting” defines the sport of “fly fishing”. If the angler is unable to execute a fly cast with distance and accuracy, it makes for a frustrating experience on the water.
North Guana Outpost is excited to offer fly casting lessons in addition to our current offerings that put people of all ages in touch with outdoor activities in and around Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida.
Lessons can be tailored for the person who has never had a fly rod in their hand to any fly angler looking for a tune-up or improvement to their current casting skill set. No equipment is needed, especially if this is something you wish to try first. Just show up with the desire to learn.
Lessons can be booked online or by contacting the shop by phone. Lessons for up two people can be booked as one hour or two-hour sessions. All lessons are taught at North Guana Outpost on Mickler Rd. in Ponte Vedra Beach. We hope to hear from you soon.

Jeff Randall is a Fly Fishers International certified casting instructor originally from the finger lakes region of central New York
and currently resides in Jacksonville. With 20 plus years of fly fishing and casting, Jeff brings experience and passion to his instruction.
