2024 Summer Surf Camp
ABOUT
NGO Surf Camp is a summer camp for kids aged 6-15, with the purpose of teaching campers the basics of surfing on the first coast. The goal of our surf camp is to bring a fun experience to campers while leaving them with surfing skills they can take with them as new surfers. We have CPR certified instructors on premise and the St. John’s County lifeguards are stationed on the beach. NGO Surf Camps are limited to 25 campers. Kids must know how to swim and be comfortable in the ocean to join. This gives campers a more personalized experience with instructors.
CAMP DIRECTOR
This year‘s surf coach will be local surf icon Buddy Evans. Buddy has enjoyed a successful 35 year competitive surfing career in both the pro and amateur ranks. Buddy has been teaching and coaching surfers and competitors with countless appearances on the podium since the 80’s. Among Buddy’s accolades outside of the Surfing world, he is an accomplished golfer, dancer, Olympic cyclist, and has appeared in many local TV commercials as an actor and entertainer.
