Dalton was born and raised in Ponte Vedra Florida, and grew up a surfer at heart. Dalton has been paddle boarding for 5 years, and has been SUP surfing for almost 4. He enjoys any kind of surfing, hiking, camping, and outdoor work. Dalton is an Eagle Scout, and loves to apply his knowledge to the outdoor world. He achieved his ACA level 1 Paddle board Instructor certification in the spring of 2016, and is currently working on his level 2 certification. He is enrolled at the University of Florida majoring in Interdisciplinary Marine Science, and is the Vice President of the UF Surf Club. Dalton's favorite part of being a guide is teaching people how to ride waves and have fun on the water.

I am originally from St. Petersburg, Florida, where I was introduced to light tackle fishing at a very young age. I began fly fishing not long after that and have really focused on it since. While we did own a boat, I always enjoyed stalking fish from a kayak or paddle board to be much more enjoyable. I have been kayaking for about 12 years and Paddleboarding for about 5.  I Attained my Pilot's license, and began taking aerial pictures of the water that I fished in Yankeetown and Crystal River, and this helped me learn why fish are where they are. I mainly use light tackle, while focusing on fly gear. I am a Fly Casting instructor, tie many of my own flies, and have experience fishing on many Blue Ribbon rivers such as the Gallatin, Madison, Missoula, and Yellowstone. I am currently attending the University of North Florida majoring in Business Administration with a minor in Coastal Biology.
